We have learned throughout our 12 years working together that when we stay true to our values and transparent with our partners and teammates, good things happen. And by “good things” we don’t mean everyone hugs and makes s’mores around a campfire. We mean that we quickly identify what will work and won’t work, and whether or not it will make sense to work together at all. There’s few resources more precious than time, and we don’t like wasting anybody’s. That’s why our primary values are transparency and trust.
We’re also big fans of execution. Just about any VC site you read will tell you that ideas are a dime a dozen, and the real value in any endeavor is the ability of the team to make it happen. That’s why we work hard, we play hard, we take time to recharge with our personal pursuits, and we want to be involved — either at a board or an executive level — in any investment we make.
